ROMAN WAY BREWERY

We are Roman Way Brewery, an experimental micro-brewery based at the Royal Ordnance Depot in Weedon, Northamptonshire.

We are called Roman Way Brewery because we are located close to Watling Street, the first Roman Road built in Britain. This link to our Roman past gives us inspiration for the names of all our brews.

Our mission is to provide great real ale! Whether you visit us directly and sample one of our onsite events at the tap room or alternatively you discover our beers in one of the many free houses that you will find across the Northants region, we hope you enjoy the experience.

All our beer is hand-crafted and brewed using traditional methods. We use the highest-quality ingredients to ensure we create the best pint we can – always made with love, pride and care.

MOO HATCH

We are thrilled to have award winning Moo Hatch back for their second time this summer. Lots of you will know them as they are local to Towcester, often to be found in their usual week day haunt of the layby at the far end of Aldi car park, but they get around to lots of other venues too, Bugbrooke Rugby Club, Towcester Mill, and various other summer festivals and events.

Described as handmade smash burgers they have to be seen (and tried) to be believed! They are out of this world, stacked high, rammed with all sorts of extras, the choice is endless. Stunning and fabulous and utterly delicious! Check out the photos. They do great chips too. Yum yum to all of that!

HYDERABADI DHABA

Very pleased to have Hyderabadi Dhaba back to Picnic this year bringing their great Indian food. Coming from Milton Keynes, they are always out and about around MK, food fairs, corporate events and other venues near and far. They do the very best Indian fast food – chicken tacos, tandoori chicken, lamb tikka, lamb kofta, wraps and so much more. Looking forward to having some of their great taste of India.

MALAVOGLIA PIZZA ARTIZANS

Returning this year delighted to welcome back Andrea of Malavoglia Pizza. You all certainly kept Andrea very busy last year because he sold out! So you clearly liked his fab pizzas, yay. Andrea is Italian, and so is pizza, so he knows a thing or two about making the absolute best wood fired pizza around. Ciao Andrea, looking forward to catching up with you again at Pattishall Picnic in the Park this summer.

CHOUXLY SCRUMPTIOUS

New to our festival this year, we are delighted to have the “Choux Sisters”, Emily and Marguerite, joining us with their amazing choux doughnuts, homemade Chouxnuts. You have to taste them to believe them. Utterly incredible for that sweet hit to keep the energy levels up. Better than any other sweet dessert I’ve ever had!

The sisters founded Chouxly Scrumptious in 2021 and have gone from strength to strength. Choux, pronounced Shoe, is a classic French pastry which they have made into an indulgent doughnut shaped treat. When baked choux puffs up dramatically and fills with air, perfect for filling with their delicious crème patisserie. It is then topped with incredible and innovative flavours – like biscoff and chocolate ganache, blueberry oreo, strawberry meringue, lemon and orange and so many more.

As well as their converted vintage caravan the girls also have a shop in Wolverton, in The Square.

THE VEGGIE BOX

For the vegetarians, but for anyone to enjoy, we have The Veggie Box joining us this year. They are meat free providing halloumi and falafel wraps, meat free loaded fries, salad bowls with halloumi or falafel.

Family run street food vendors from Wellingborough, The Veggie Box are at lots of Central England events all year round. Looking forward to having some of this great food.

WONKY DONKEY SWEETS

Delighted to have Wonky Donkey joining us again this year with their sweet treats. Yummy popcorn, dirty popcorn, sweets, candy floss, delicious milk shakes and one of the above makes your tongue go blue … but which one?!

THE PICNIC CAFE

Located just inside the hall, the café will be serving tea, coffee, and a variety of scrumptious cakes throughout the event. This year the Picnic Café is being organised and run by Iris and her helpers, raising money for Pattishall Playing Field charity, the very space where Picnic in the Park is taking place. Thank you Iris and team.

GALLONES ICE CREAM VAN

Wouldn’t be a festival without an ice cream van and here in Northamptonshire it has to be one from our local ice cream makers Gallones. Gallones Ice cream have been supporting us since the beginning so welcome back. Just what we need - a traditional ice cream van to help us cool down, we know it’s gonna be hot out there!
Please note vendor line up is subject to change. This website will be updated with any changes.
