We know that this year’s Picnic in the Park falls on a very exciting day for England football fans.
For those already attending the festival, we are pleased to confirm that we will be making arrangements to show the England match live on site, so ticket holders can enjoy the football without having to leave the event.
This will be provided as an additional facility for Picnic in the Park attendees only and there will be no extra charge to watch the match.
Please note that this is not a separate public event, fan zone, or official tournament event. It is simply being provided for people already attending Picnic in the Park, allowing everyone to enjoy the music, food, family entertainment and festival atmosphere throughout the day, while still being able to follow the football.
To help keep the football screening area safe and enjoyable for everyone, only drinks purchased from official event bars or vendors may be taken into this area.
This measure is being introduced to help reduce the risk of glass and other unsuitable containers in a busy viewing space. We kindly ask all visitors to respect this requirement and support our stewards and volunteers on the day.
The rest of the festival will continue as planned, with a fantastic line-up of live music, children’s entertainment, food vendors, bars and community activities.
