We are Roman Way Brewery, an experimental micro-brewery based at the Royal Ordnance Depot in Weedon, Northamptonshire.

We are called Roman Way Brewery because we are located close to Watling Street, the first Roman Road built in Britain. This link to our Roman past gives us inspiration for the names of all our brews.

Our mission is to provide great real ale! Whether you visit us directly and sample one of our onsite events at the tap room or alternatively you discover our beers in one of the many free houses that you will find across the Northants region, we hope you enjoy the experience.

All our beer is hand-crafted and brewed using traditional methods. We use the highest-quality ingredients to ensure we create the best pint we can – always made with love, pride and care.

We are delighted to have The Munch Hut joining us this year at Picnic, providing out festival goers with great burgers and fries. Simon and his team are based in Northampton. We pleased to be supporting a another local food vendor. 

The Munch Hut's burgers are all 100% British beef smash patties and the choice sounds fab - The Oklahoma Smash, The Bacon Cheese Smash, The Keep It Real, and The Beast (not for the faint hearted). They also do a tasty sounding range of fries and loaded fries - Munch Hut Dirty Fries, Pulled Pork Loaded Fries, Pulled Brisket Loaded Fries, Love 'Um or Hate 'Um Fries (amongst other tasty additions these fries also have a marmite cheese sauce!) and Dam Fries (these are topped with homemade Amsterdam style truffle mayo and parmesan cheese. Yum. Straightforward salted fries available too, of course. Now which burger and fries to try, that is the questions?!

Very pleased to have Hyderabadi Dhaba back to Picnic this year bringing their great Indian food. Coming from Milton Keynes, they are always out and about around MK, food fairs, corporate events and other venues near and far. They do the very best Indian fast food – chicken tacos, tandoori chicken, lamb tikka, lamb kofta, wraps and so much more. Looking forward to having some of their great taste of India.

Returning this year delighted to welcome back Andrea of Malavoglia Pizza. You all certainly kept Andrea very busy last year because he sold out! So you clearly liked his fab pizzas, yay. Andrea is Italian, and so is pizza, so he knows a thing or two about making the absolute best wood fired pizza around. Ciao Andrea, looking forward to catching up with you again at Pattishall Picnic in the Park this summer.

We are The Hungry Hungarian Pancakery based in Higham Ferrers. A family owned and run business with father and stepdaughter behind the hotplates. The pancakes are Hungarian recipe so if you think it's just your usual pancakes you will be surprised. The stickwaffles are new and a very popular treat for not just children but adults too. The mini-pancakes are little bites of fluffy clouds topped with your favourite sauces and toppings. You can choose from more than 15 different toppings so the combinations are endless. So pancakes, mini-pancakes and stickwaffles - it's your choice. Whatever your choice you will have a great sweet treat!

Delighted to have Maya Street Food joining us this year based in Milton Keynes. They describe themselves as street food vendors offering gourmet food from around the world with the emphasis on Korean. So if you like Korean themed chicken, beef, tofu either sweet and sour, katsu curry, gyoza, bao buns, noodles or rice, these are the guys for you! See you in July Maya Street Food.

Delighted to have Wonky Donkey joining us again this year with their sweet treats. Yummy popcorn, dirty popcorn, sweets, candy floss, delicious milk shakes and one of the above makes your tongue go blue … but which one?!

Located just inside the hall, the café will be serving tea, coffee, and a variety of scrumptious cakes throughout the event. This year the Picnic Café is being organised and run by Iris and her helpers, raising money for Pattishall Playing Field charity, the very space where Picnic in the Park is taking place. Thank you Iris and team.

Providing us with just what we need to help us cool down on a hot festival day we are joined this year by Elliott's Ice Cream from Northampton. Providing great value soft whip ice cream cones with sweet treat toppings and cool ice lollies and drinks look out for their traditional British ice cream van.
