Whats the reason we're doing this?
By broadening the base of support for the Hall and playing field, it will enable these facilities to be maintained for the future, carrying on the work started over 35 years ago.
The Parish Hall, built in 1980, was the culmination of much hard work in fundraising through grants and events, most notably the Eastcote Festival. In 2014, a major refurbishment and extension project was completed, again with funding from the community and many grants including those from Biffa Award, The London Marathon Charitable Trust, and South Northants Council. The hall is used by over 20 groups and organisations on a regular basis and provides a venue for many social occasions.
The Parish Hall is splendid after its refurbishment. However, the budget did not allow for the front car park to be resurfaced and to this day remains potholed and uneven. During wet periods, this is especially problematic as large puddles accumulate and it becomes messy underfoot. An estimate for the completion of the work is in the region of £50,000
The mission for Picnic in the Park is to raise this money which will benefit the community and patrons who continually use the hall.
You can show your support this year in various ways:
Why not attend the event, enjoy the day knowing that your money is a contribution towards this goal. You can buy your tickets here
Do you own or manage a business? Picnic in the Park has a range of sponsorship opportunities. Further details can be found here
Perhaps you'd simply like to make a donation? As a registered charity we'd be very pleased to accept any gift you'd care to pledge. Please drop us a line on email@example.com
Thanks for your continued support, together we can all enjoy a fantastic music event each year; and hopefully a nice new tarmac car park in the process.
